    What do you guys think? Would it run alright on my current gen black mac book?

    I've played it on someone else's MacBook (2.0ghz, 1gb ram)

    Turn down the Resolution and Particle sliders to about 1/2 way.
    In skirmish, don't use more than 3 AI players.
    It will go down to 3-2 fps when multiple land mines explode for about 5 seconds.

    In conclusion, as long as you don't max your settings, it will be more than playable, certainly better than what my old original eMac did.

    A GMA950 really just isn't up to the task.

    Generals? ...it's a pretty old and undemanding game. Just turn the settings down until things start running smoothly.
