    Well,
Have you checked your MBP's temperature while working?Yes,It's very very hot...And OC'ing might be as well setting fire to it...Every part begins becoming hot while being OC'ed.On PC'S buying descent fans will usually solve the problem but what are you supposed to do with a notebook?
Apart from the fact that OC'ing voids the warranty it can do some serious damage especially for a newbie.
If the stock's clock speed is at a particular rate it means that it will perform best for that clock.A notebook after being designed undergoes many stress tests...That's why MBP has an underclocked GPU.And I should remind you MBP is not made for heavy and high performance and resource demanding jobs. The underclocked GPU proves that.So IMO overclocking a Macbook Pro might lead to you BURNING your own money...
(Many MBP owners actually underclock this thing to control the heat)
And I promise you Apple has a very good reason for the stock settings and configuration for MacBook Pro(everyone loves higher performance with less money).
I suggest you consider sth else or wait for Merom if you want very high performance jobs.
    Cheers.
