Hello all,
I just bought a new unibody MB on Sunday and was very pleased with it. Came with out-of-the-box networking functionality. From what I remember I was able to promptly have access to Shared Files on my Windows Vista and XP based computers through my home network.
However, yesterday my MB started freezing up and it just got worse and worse to the point where it would never load and just shut down after a 2-3 min of the loading screen.
...So I re-formated my hard drive and did a clean install. I can connect to the Internet perfectly now, but the problem is that I no longer can see or access my home network! I remember when I first got my computer there was option to "Log on as..." and that's where I put in my Vista Admin user and pass to be able to log onto my Visa computer (my XP computer didn't require a user/pass). I can't seem to find this option anywhere.
Needless to say, I am frustrated. First my system crashed out of nowhere in under 48 hours since I got it, and now I can't seem to file share with my home network. All I'm thinking about is the money I spent on this MB and how it will all go to waste... Please help me restore my faith in macs![]()
Thanks
