    Hey all,

I'm just wondering if there has been any changes in the way ML calculates battery time left and percentages remaining? I ask because it seems to fluctuate more frequently when compared to SL. I'm getting okay battery life on ML, but still can't compare to SL. It is also a BIT lagger and slower to boot. It may be due to my dirty install... but I'll do a clean install when I have some more time.

I am running a late 2008 Macbook (unibody) with 250GB HDD, 4GB RAM, and NVIDIA 9400M graphics card. I was previously on Snow Leopard (skipped Lion due to woeful battery life) and got really great battery life (4 hours).

My battery is 2.6 years old has 191 cycles and 93.3% of it's original capacity (4300mah).

    Thanks!

It's odd that you mention that because with my MacBook Pro, I am also running Mountain Lion, but with a 240GB HP v300a SSD and I seem to be getting the same amount of battery life, if not slightly worse battery life, than when I was running Mountain Lion on the same computer, but with a 750GB Seagate Momentous XT. However, a little over a year ago when I first got my laptop, I was running Snow Leopard on the factory 750GB Toshiba hard drive and got exceptional battery life.
