Since I've been getting so much help lately on these forums, I thought that it'd be nice to alert everyone to this phenominal eBay seller who sells Applecare. I bought it for my new Aluminum Macbook from them for really cheap after using live.com's cashback. memorymate, the seller, also has a program where he gives 10% direct deposit to people if you mention my eBay ID since I bought it from them as well. This is legitamite, and my friend got Macbook Pro Applecare for only $130 after all discounts. All you have to do is mention my eBay ID, portapottyguy, in the comments section when you are checking out. I got my Applecare for only $95. Don't miss out on this chance! Message me to let me know if you are going to use my ID to purchase.
They deliver almost immediately by e-mail, and even though most people are wary about e-mailing Applecare and fraud, they are legit. I can show you a screen shot of my warranty, and you can see that I actually bought from memorymate.
This is their store: http://shop.ebay.com/merchant/memorymate_W0QQ_nkwZQQ_armrsZ1QQ_fromZQQ_mdoZ
When they give you a 10% discount, they do a direct deposit so you lose less than a dollar to paypal fees, but it doesn't screw up your live.com rebate.
Again, let me know if you have any questions! I just wanted to give back to the community since Applecare might be one of the best things to get for your Apple computers, but the retail price is ridiculously high.
Edit: for those of you who want in on this awesome deal, it ends sometime in December so hurry before it goes away!
Edit: My eBay ID again is: portapottyguy. Mention that in the comments section when you check out and you will get the 10% direct payment back to you!

philosopherdog Notebook Consultant
Sounds very suspicious indeed. I wonder what Apple will say when you bring your notebook in for service 12 months from now when this ebayer is long gone to Nigeria.
-
By the way, for people who'd like to take advantage of this deal, live.com is at 30% now. -
thats something i always wondered, how do they sell applecare.. do other retailers sell applecare?
-
-
Yes, you can buy an Applecare retail box, goes for around $400AU over here.
-
wow, the price is very cheap!

ClearSkies Well no, I'm still here..
I always stick with factory sealed boxes - avoids the potential issue with pirated or stolen keys that are then emailed to you but are passed off as legitimate until you actually need it and discover the problem. Had this happen on occasion with software, and learned my lesson
Also stick with purchasing only the most current warranty SKU, which can be found at Apple's website.
I've obtained AppleCare for Macbook (x4) from Ebay over the past year, reputable seller, $150-170 shipped. Else, famous axiom says that if the deal appears too good to be true, it probably is. Caveat emptor. -
-
by the way, anyone who isn't too scared and doubtful and wants to get in on this, the 10% rebate thing only lasts until the end of the month.
-
funny, thats where I got my applecare 3 days ago.
i used the 10% coupon and 30% cashback -
-
Very awesome deal! Just purchased some with the 10% coupon and the 30% cash back for my brother for Christmas.
-
-
alright...just got one using your ID. sweet!
-
temping. Ive never used Live though. Can I get a brief process overview from start to finish? not just of live, but your whole "process"
-
Just out of curiosity, why are you promoting this so heavily?
-
-
Is this allowed?

ClearSkies Well no, I'm still here..
The issue is that, because of how hard you're pushing this deal/find in this thread, there appears to be the impression of a possible conflict of interest or personal monetary benefit to you if members utilize your suggested protocol, or that you could otherwise be involved in promoting something on the forum that you're selling, and that is specifically against forum rules.
I applaud your desire to engage in giving back to the community, but posting a good deal or find is usually enough...- this shouldn't have morphed into 3 pages.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=200282127501&ssPageName=STRK:MEWN:IT&ih=010
i got my Apple care number and it worked well. $196 buy it now.. I used 10% paypal code and 30% cashback.
I think he offers buy 5 get 1 free too. -
last post for me, but just to let everyone who's looking at getting that extra 10%, you HAVE to mention my ID in the comments section. apparently they are really strict with this rule, but if you don't, they don't allow you to e-mail them to tell them.

I was just wondering... this codes can be used only once isn't it?
imagine if not...
-
-
no no, I mean the activation codes for appalecare
