Any cheap and good memory for the MBP?
Where and what brand?
Must be 2x2GB=4GB
-
Take a look at Newegg.com
And brand doesn't really matter, as long as its not unknown. Corsair, Crucial, OCZ are usually highly recommended though. -
Wow, that's an awesome deal!
-
That is! I just purchased Corsair RAM... 2GB 2x1GB that cost $59.99... so pretty much the same deal.

Just ordered mine's...1x2 GB OCZ PC5400 DDR2 667 MHz SODIMM. Since my MacBook isn't Santa Rosa, it won't be able to support 4 GB, so I just ordered one. So with the original 512 MB, I'll have 2.5 GB of RAM. Woot!

not in stock and the deal ends in a few hours. I'm leaving the country soon so I can't wait for back orders.
newegg used to have theTranscend 2gb for $39 with free shipping and it had 70+ reviews at 95% +, now it's not even there.
I can't find any 2GB sticks at less than $70 anywhere

macsales.com
or to be more specific : http://eshop.macsales.com/MyOWC/Upgrades.cfm?model=267&type=Memory&TI=0922&shoupgrds=Show+Upgrades
50 for 2gb and 104 for 4gb, with lifetime advance replacement warranty. Good stuff =) -

A Christmas gift to yourself? Or a birthday gift to yourself? lol
-
I don't know, I rarely see that kind of deal in Canada so I just jumped at it
. I wonder what I should classify it as...
-
Make it a Chistmas gift...you are definitely dressed for that occasion!
Glad you got that extra RAM...you deserve it.

Hehe, I did order a pair of Creative EP-630 earbuds yesterday as well, so I guess that's my birthday present
.
So my Christmas gift for myself is 2 GB of RAM!
