Some may have see this already but for those who haven't and are on a tight budget, this could be the monitor your looking for.

That's awesome! If I needed a monitor, I would probably pick one of these up.
But I have my trusty 22 inch ASUS at the house.
-
The panels on those (from the pictures that I can see) look like crap.
Maybe their TN panels? -
those pics are photoshoped IMO...
-
Is that company sure that they're going with that design?
It looks like a direct "copying" of the Apple Cinema LED Displays.
-
yeap, that's exactly what they are doing...why are you so surprised?
-
Let's hope the released ones are not as same as the photoshopped ones. The image quality is disappointing.
-
they cost a lot,so I think they ll be good.
-
-
24" will cost 500$
-
I would much rather get the authentic screen for a bit more than to get a cheaper photoshopped knock-off.
-
Looks "OK" I suppose. No charging for your laptop, sadly, and it looks like it uses the headphone jack for audio, interestingly, not the USB port like on the Apple LED display. I've no doubt it will be a craptastic TN panel, though, which renders it all but useless. I'll never, ever buy a TN panel again.

Lethal Lottery Notebook Betrayer
I would love a cheap silver monitor like the old apple displays... but those look like crap blatant knock offs.
-
I think the 19" & 21" could be interesting for those on a tight budget and not in need of 24"... i.e the average non professional, office user. And there are a lot of those out there now. This is especially true if apple does not fill the lower end gap of there cinema display line.
If my lab gets its funding grant then I might just get the 21" for myself.

Price is insane.
-
If it is $500, it should be an IPS or PVA panel. I hope it is not $500 for some ugly Mac-looking monitor with a TN panel. Give me my NEC any day!
-
ClearSkies Well no, I'm still here..
AppleInsider claims contact with manufacturer rep in the updated story from 4/14 that the screens will be MVA and not IPS.
