I need a clarification on getting an SSD for the 2011 MBP. Is it true that TRIM is only supported for the SSD sold by Apple in OS X 10.6.6? If I purchase the Intel X25-M 120GB SSD is TRIM not supported?

    Thanks.

This is true, only the SSD's Apple sales currently have trim support in OSX.
