My girlfriend was using this laptop, and I said something funny and she laughed and spit all over the screenwise move lol...
Anyway, I saw a few cleaners for LCD screens. Is it ok to use these on LED screens?
Thanks.

<noparse>MacBook</noparse> Pro: Care, Use, and Safety Information
I use a $4 microfiber cloth I got at OfficeMax with a very small amount of water if necessary. There are specific cleaning solutions such as iKlear (*cough* overpriced *cough*) and I know several other people who use the ShaggyMac Screen Protector to both protect and to wipe their screen. -
The Macbook Pro does not have an LED screen! It has an lcd screen like any other laptop but instead of the back light behind the LCD screen being CCFL, it is LED. So to answer your question, yes you can use an LCD cleaner on an LCD.

I use this stuff called Monster Clean. We use it commercially at work. Comes in a small bottle with blue liquid in it with its own microfiber cloth. It's alcohol free and designed for use on LCDs, Plasma screens etc...
I paid $24.99 for it about three years ago. I use so little of it that even with two large flat panel TVs, two LCD monitors and two notebooks it's lasted me three years, and half of the bottle is still there. It's really good value.
Also, it works great. I had stuck dirt on one of my screens and had a tough time removing it. With one swipe of this stuff it went away and it never leaves any streaks. I sound like a commercial, don't I? Anyways, highly recommended. -
Thanks all!

Is this the monster clean stuff?

No, I'll try to get you a link here.... just a sec.
Here it is:
It's actually called MONSTER SCREENCLEAN. On the bottle itself it has the website MonsterCable.com. The bottle is 200ml (6.76 fl oz). They may have changed the packaging since I got mine three years ago. FutureShop in Canada has it although the bottle looks skinnier than mine but it's the same stuff. Thanks, but look at the link I posted. It has the same manufacturer website as you state. The thing I am looking at is called iClean and sells for cheaper and the reviews on it are very similar to what you guys are saying here about it. So I am thinking it is basically the same thing. Am I right?

stealthsniper96 What Was I Thinkin'?
Last time I did a clean on my MB I used a mr. clean magic eraser andthen dried it with a paper towl. Worked fine.
-
soft cotton cloth and some water.
I'd think a paper towel would be a little too abrasive for my tastes. -
I think you're right. Sorry I just took a quick glance at the amazon link before and it was a different bottle and colour so I thought it was different. I have no idea what the difference is between iClean and MonsterClean. The colour blue maybe?

LOL. I'd be careful using mr. clean's magic eraser. We used it once on a wall and while it took care of a smudge, it left it's own dry streak that was visible in certain lighting and we couldn't get rid of it. I personally wouldn't use it on a screen but that's just me.
