This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     personally, with perian and flip4mac (quicktime plugins), everything seems to work.

    Yea, I've opened a lot of different codeced files, and perianor VLC has been able to handle it find.

    In the odd case, OSXBMC or NicePlayer have can do different things better then VLC or quicktime.
