    how does this work?
    do i still need windows to install this?
    it would be great to run TF2 without restarting my computer
    does anyone know how if there is a significance loss in performance compared to bootcamp?

    Might as well just download lol. But I just tried running cod4 in vmware fusion yesterday and my MBP froze lol (probably cause I didn't have enough RAM) the colourful ball thing just kept spinning for like 2hrs until I decided to just press the power button. Boot camp partition might be dead now lol.

    They've streamlined things and you can now directly download a fully unlocked version from a very fast server - today only

    I personally don't find it that useful as it won't run the few things I want to run very well, but I try it from time to time and keep hoping ;-)

    Since they've got a bajillion people downloading it, they said they'd try and get the keys out with a few days/weeks.

    But I installed it successfully without a key, so perhaps you don't need one for the version they're letting people have? Then again, I just installed it - I haven't actually used it yet. So who knows.

    just tried it and it works..
    tried playing TF2 in window mode with skype (webcam on), msn, firefox and it played reasonably with low settings, ill try full screen later..

    but i dont know how to enable the developer console, i enabled the feature in the advanced options but it still doesnt work.. anyone have any ideas?

    They offered the "no-need-key" version for download before. I still haven't installed it yet though (scared lol).

    Oh and StrongerThanAll did you always have the 2.53Ghz model?

    lol I downloaded the unlocked version and signed-up for a key. Never got the key...

    EDIT: Just checked my other e-mail and got it! (sent today 11:30 am....) ATC you can have it if masterchef wasn't joking xD.
