Hi All,
Is there anyway to get rid of region settings of the DVD drive in Macbook. I recently played couple of movies i bought from Europe. And then today i tried to play a movie i got via Netflix. Immediately the DVD Player software prompted a pop-up window saying that my DVD region is set to 2 ,so if i want to play this one, i have to revert back to region 1. As usual it allows me for 4 more changes. Can't we permanently set to region 0
. I am a recent switcher to mac, i thought macs doesn't have the region complications!!! apparently it does!!!!!!!!
Solutions are welcome. thanks.

Uhh, search it on google. You may need to do illegal crap to get by it... but you didnt hear that from me.

Play the movies in VLC. The Macbook drive is region free, it's the DVD Player application that's locked.
