I deleted bootcamp awhile ago, atleast I'm pretty sure I did. Everytime i restart my computer on my desktop still appears the windows partion disk icon and it still says 10gb free, thats how much space i gave it when i partioned them. Does this icon mean I didn't delete completely off? What can I do to get rid of this icon so it doesn't appear everytime i restart!? Thanks

reinstall bootcamp and use the bootcamp utility to delete the partition.

Thats what i did the first time? so i should do it again?

I'd try it again. If it still doesn't work then use a program called partition magic. It works wonders.

Yeah? I just checked and it says for windows? so that didn't help, any other suggestions..

maybe he means a Gparted LiveCD ?

whoops. There's the PC stuff coming out again. The mac equivalent for partition magic would be iPartition, and can be found here: http://www.coriolis-systems.com/iPartition.php

Yeah, but can it deal with EFi/BIOS emulation issues? That's the real problem with partitions in a Mac, specially if you plan to boot from one of them. Since this guy probably doesn't want to reinstall OSX, I'd check that first before using any third part utility.

I still havent found a good way to delete it, has anybody out there had this problem and found a for sure way to delete it? thanks.

any advice is helpful

Well if you can't find a LiveCD that'll do it. Then I would backup and just use the OS X install disc. You also may want to try this out:
