Do Apple Stores stock new products the same day they are introduced?

I live about thirty miles away from the closest Apple Store, and I was wondering if they generally stock newly announced products immediately. Obviously there are exceptions, such as the iPhone, but what about notebooks?

 

Generally they don't if it's something completely new and even more so if it's announced at Macworld. This question has come up a few times already, I would really recommend just waiting until Tuesday and don't anticipate a new notebook because Apple is full of surprises. I thought there would be a new notebook last year but it was iPhone and Apple TV.

Hopefully Apple will announce what you are looking for and if they do it generally won't be available for at least a week after the announcement.

 

If its released immediately, expect it in Apple Stores in the next few days, usually.

 

Please use search in the future, this has been covered a couple times in the last couple of weeks.

For reference, my brother bought an iMac and I exchanged my AirPort Extreme Base Station the day that both were announced in August. Usually, if they don't have them that day, they will by the end of the week. I would of course call before you go if it is a long trip.

 

I did a search for Apple+store+new, and I didn't see anything in the last couple months. I'll try harder next time. Thanks for the input.
