This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Nice stand.
    It looks like the front lip stretches just to the edge of the right command key. If the 2008 keyboard is similar to 2009 in size, I'd say yes. But only slightly. Might still be able to work around it.

    I phoned Rain Design today...... within 5 seconds of getting the girl on the phone there, I could tell she was CLUELESS as to my inquiry. I phoned Apple, they couldn't answer the question either. Then comes THIS site, where I ALWAYS get great advice!

    Any more takers on this inquiry?

    Well thank-you VERY much! I Googled some images and found a few applications where there were some 15" MBPs mounted, but it was still hard to tell.

    I have an M-Stand and there is no interference for th eDVD slot. I have had both a 15 and 17" MBP on there, and neither had any issues.

    The mStand was designed for the original MBP, shouldn't have any issues :p
