    Does Apple do black friday?

    Anyone know if apple offers and discounts on this day? And are they any better than an education discount ? What about resellers like macmall, etc? Thanks!

    No, Apple does not do sales. They post a price and that is that. The best you can hope for is something like the free iPod with the purchase of a Mac for students deal. Check out places like Amazon or CompUSA. Even then it is unlikely.

    Apple.com has some good prices on their refurbed products. The few items I have bought from them looked new to me though they do come in packaging that says refurbed. One nice thing is they come with the full warranty unlike most other refurbed products.
