    How do I get my Macbook to view GIF files (with motion)?
    How do I insert GIF file in imovie 11 (with motion)?

    I am using leopard.

    Well you can view a .gif with Safari. I'm not sure how to enter one into a movie though.

    Adobe premier elements 9 demo version handles GIFfiles and so does movie maker. I just hope it could be done with imove 11

    iMovie can not, FCP can with a plugin.

    so.. I guess Gif with Motion means an animated Gif?

    Quicklook works with these now in Lion... or a web browser.

    Last time i wanted to use one in something in iMovie, I just screen recorded it while it was playing into a movie file and used that.
