well i traded my ipod touch for the second time, does it cover dead pixels? i have one dead pixel right i open it up and i dont want to take it back again, i have 1 year from them, so just in case in 1 year i get more pixels can they fix it or replace? luckily i dont have one my macbook, thnx, the most common is i get green dead pixel, it is visible on black backgrounds, i tried on different clor but nothing.

If it is in the first 14 days and you bought it at Apple, take it back, they should allow an exchange. If not, AppleCare will cover it as long as it meets the threshold. It varies by screen size and I believe how noticeable it is.

Let me just clarify: AppleCare isn't "improved customer support", in the sense that you talk to other people, get other services. AppleCare is a time extension of the standard one-year warranty for two more years; so basically, what is covered by the one-year warranty is what is covered by AppleCare Protection Plan.
I don't know what's the policy on iPod Touch/iPhone dead pixels, but yes, talk to them about it, its a hassle but I would be really annoyed at a dead pixel on my gorgeous iPod Touch.
