I missed to mention that I already have a MBP and I'm not really interested in the power cord since I have one.
The reason I asked about the power cord is to tell the genuine Magsafes from the fakes - or basically does the apple store Magsafe include both?

My Magsafe has the wires showing and that happened just after less one years of use. I'm looking to replace it with one from ebay but I can't figure out the genuine from the fakes.
Also, now there many new genuine models with cryptic codes and some are L shaped too.
Anyway, I refuse to pay apple full price for something that should not break apart that easily.

OK, I made this post initially to inform my self and avoid a non-genuine Magsafe adapter - but guess what, I managed to buy a fake one anyway

If anyone can help me out: could you all check if your Magsafes have a
CE and UL print on one of the sides and 85w on the other?

My original Magsafe has a "CE and UL print on one of the sides and 85w on the other" but the fake one I got does not have this.
