Ya Live rebate has been going on for a while now. I got this MBP NIB for $2100, with a 10% cashback from microsoft live. So I payed 1900 for a NIB MBP + it came with free apple care If you can spot good deals on ebay it can be very good.

 

Microsoft cashback has been around for a while, like MKang says. You can use it for just about anything, though it needs to be a Buy It Now + PayPal item. This cashback percentage of 8% is actually really low, as it has reached 30% other times. However, there is a $200 limit cash back on a single item.

I generally frown upon sellers who advertise $xxx cash back from Live.com, due to it's volatility. It may be 30% one day, and 10% another. For example, in this case, you do NOT get $200 back. Rather, you get $178.16 back. It's shady advertising at best.

It takes around 2 months for you to get your money in your paypal account.

 

Thanks for the information...I wasn't aware of the rebate type program. Even if it take a month or two..it's still a great deal.
