SaferSephiroth The calamity from within
Do you mean by static electricity or do you mean the probability of an open lead somewhere inside shocking you? This makes me wonder if the aluminum case is grounded on the MBP.

-
what does being grounded mean?
-
o ok, so i should use the 3 pronged one?
-
Yes, when possible. But you shouldn't have to worry, since you're not getting shocked.
-
Heh... he's not being shocked... YET!
lol yeah, there was a problem with the old cases sending shocks out, even with the grounded prong. But that was generally a faulty power supply (which my burned up).
The old shocks were annoying as heck. Felt like something sort of... cutting at your wrists if you rubbed them against the corner of the palm rest.
But unless you're using the 2 prong, or have really electricity in your house, you shouldn't have any problems with shocks. -
