    Hi,
Is there anyway to display/embed text on the Mac desktop, either off of a text file or just punching it into a menu or something, in any font I want?
(I did notice Geektool, but it seems like I can't adjust the font, and it's out of date - not for Leopard).

I just want to be able to display like a daily 'motto' or something on it.

Maybe Google Desktop... or I think there was a way to bring Dashboard widgets on to your desktop.
