What are the equivalent applications in OSX for these Windows programs? When I say "equivalent" I mean something that does the same function or better, with the same features, for the same or less amount of memory footprint. Especially there's a Mac program that does the same but is far better.
1. Nero
2. utorrent (besides Azureus)
3. CCCP (besides VLC and mplayer)
4. IrfanView
5. Nods32/Kaspersky
I'm sure there are more, but I can't think of them at this minute.
Thanks!

1) Roxio Toast is probably the most direct equivalent to something like Nero.
2) A variety of Torrent options, depending on your needs. Transmission and Tomato Torrent are probably some of the most popular.
3) Not sure about an equivalent to a codec/player package like that besides just something like VLC or MPlayer.
4) There's all sorts of viewers/etc. GraphicConverter has been a long-time popular Mac app; it does all sorts of stuff, but includes slideshow functionality, etc. http://www.lemkesoft.com/
5) There are some Mac antivirus programs, etc. but they aren't really all that popular on the Mac platform. There's McAfee Virex for the Mac, Norton AntiVirus, Sophos AntiVirus, ClamXav, VirusBarrier, etc. -
Found this:
http://blog.twenty08.com/2006/12/27/codec-pack-for-all-the-new-mac-users/
Package of codecs for Intel Macs (which would basically play within any quicktime-capable video player on a Mac, FrontRow, etc). -
Thanks Zadillo...it's amazing how many programs I tend to use on a daily basis that I just take for granted.
Wonder what I'm missing... -
