Unless the problem persists, it's nothing to be worried about.

I think you are having a problem that Wobble987 shown in the first link of http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=373542

The first link Wobble has on the above post talks about something called kernel panic which prompt the users to hold down the power key. Maybe you can take a look at it.

I had this same problem on my older white Macbook. It would just stay at that screen. I had to take it to the Apple Store, and they ran some hardware tests and a stress test, and returned it to me the next day, with a new HDD. It might be the same case with you, but it might not.

yeah, i think just try to run Apple Hardware Test.

    to run.

    1) turn on your computer. wait till OS X loads up, and youre idle at the desktop.

    2) insert the supplied Mac OS X installation disk,

    3) restart your computer

    4) press and hold the D keys at the grey screen, just before the apple logo comes up.

    5) release when you saw that the macs boot into the Apple Hardware Test.

    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1509

if it reports any error, take a photograph of the screen, call apple care, tell them about the error. and go from there.

if it does not find any error, then, most probably its a software or external peripheral problem.

also, try to run disk utility.

verify and repair permission and verify disk.

if you have techtool deluxe from applecare, run that, and let it check for problem.

you haven't by any chance installed LCC (logitech control center) have you? that one could create kernel panic in such situation as yours. wireless G7 and all.

It's a kernal panic like Seshan said. :( Take it up to the Apple store, tell them waht happened, and get their input! They might even replace it, depending on what happens. ;)
