    European delivery problem?

    I'm fench but I suppose all europe can get that:
    I've ordered my MBP 2.2 the 5th july, the guy at the store keeps telling me this is very rare Hardware doesn't shows up, I call the store everyday, and the guy has no idea when they gotta come. I'm a bit desperate to get my brand-new-shining-UlTr4_R0x0R Mbp by now we are the 17th july, I'd like to know if there is someone who has an idea...

    Yes in Germany it is a similar story. I ordered on the 31.6 and got one of the last ones. My friend ordered 2 days later and they are telling him end of July for the 2.2ghz version and mid August for the 2.4ghz version. They are short on LED displays.

    I think the demand is far outstripping the supply for these. I don't think Apple expected the LED MBP to take off like it has. It seems to really be a game changer, and a lot of people were waiting to buy until it came out.

    Are the exibition models still there? At stores here they are all gone (sold???) too. One big electronic store is selling the C2D Macbook pro with the x1600 now. Not even on sale but normal prices same as the Santa Rosa and people are buying them like crazy!

    Same delivery issues also here in Netherlands. I ordered MBP 2,2ghz from Apple store Amsterdam(07-07-07) and they said that late July, early August. There were 15 orders in line for 2,2ghz MBP.. im 16th :(

    Well.. I guess I can wait couple of weeks :)

    If you order from the store can you still check your order online?

    I ordered mine on the 6th July online and my estimated shipping date is 17th July - 20th July and estimated delivery is 23rd July - 27th July.

    I phoned Apple yesterday to try and get a more accurate date and all I got was that it was most likely to ship at the end of the shipping date :(

    Oh I'm from the UK btw

    Try tracking using this site: Apecode. Apple shipping in Europe is realllly bad and the tracking on apples site is useless.
