The story is I have a macbook black and it is 100% charged since I first use it.
I use the macbook on battery for 2 hour while in class. When I left my class, I close the lid, and leave it there until the next morning.
The next morning I open the laptop and see it's still have 77% of battery left. That was more than enough for me to use in the next 2 class.
    OS X's APCI is awesome.
P/S: my Dell xps1530 - 9 cell battery with linux ran out of charge after 1 hours sleeping and 1 hour of usage.

That is why. Most linux distros do not come with advanced power management packages. Linux is way behind Apple and Microsoft in terms of battery management. Which linux distro are you using by the way?
