    Exchanging 17 inch MBP with 15 inch MBP possible?

    Hello, every one, I have a question for you.

    Apple will mail me a new 17 inch MBP unibody(Intel Core 2 Duo 2.66, 4G memory, 320G hard drive) and I found out that I like the 15 inch MBP unibody more (lighter yet the same powerful machine). Is there anyway that I can take it back to apple store and exchange for a 15 inch MBP?

    Any help will be great. Thanks.

    Check Apple's return policy; if you take it back within the specified time, I'm sure you could get an exchange

    Depends on what exactly you mean by "Apple will mail me a new 17 inch MBP". Is it a replacement for another 17 MBP or is it that you just ordered one and they're sending it out?

    If it's the latter then you should have a return period (14 days I think) and it has to be unopened; should be no problem exchanging/returning. If it's the former then that's a different matter where you'll have to talk to apple about it.
