My hands free mic that came with my icemats, www.steelseries.com does not work in both mac and bootcamp. Can someone help me fix this problem? Also where can I download the latest realtek drivers, I think that this will fix my problems!

    Thanks!

i think its because mbp uses line in, and not mic in (so i heard) so you need get a mic booster type thing.

not sure about normal macbook though, and i could be wrong.

MBPs don't have powered mic jacks. you'll need either a powered mic or a USB one.

As I said, it works fine with me, as you can plug any mini-jack mic you have and also your headphones. It's cheap and small and doesn't need any config. You'll only need to tell the software you're using it with the audio ports it has to use are actually the iMic (it will appear automatically in the audio setup menu window in Skype, etc).
