This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Doing a little research for a friend. She was interested in finding a good file sharing program for her mac. Her tech ability is basically a zero. I might be able to walk her through a little bit but I'm more of a pc guy so...

    And she's a little worried about viruses and stuff. I've always heard macs are less susceptible to viruses but dont really know much

    Recommendations appreciated for p2p and antiviruses. Thanks!

    As for file sharing, try Azureus. It's a BitTorrent Client, read the Azureus User Guide for more information.
