someone is smart enough to somehow do that... but so stupid they can't even make a decent video?
-
H.A.L. 9000 Occam's Chainsaw
Pssh, I know right! -
Who cares. Flash is a dying pig.
-
Thats kinda like saying someone is smart enough to do neurosurgery but can't draw or paint.
-
apple is lame for not just including flash with it
-
MILLIONS of happy iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad owners completely disagree with you.
-
millions disagree with you as well.
just beacuse the iphone is an amazing phone doesnt mean it shouldnt have flash. From what have seen of it on android 2.2 it looks really good. and there is more to the no flash on the iphone story if you looked into it.
and flash is not a dieing pig at all it is, at the present time the best solution to video on the web
and before the flame war starts i have an iphone and plan on getting the new one when the lines die down -
making videos on a computer is closely related... and takes a lot less talent than something like drawing.
more like saying... someone is smart enough to do neurosurgery but cannot properly perform CPR. -
I have looked into it. Thanks.
Completely subjective. -
electrosoft Perpetualist Matrixist

Google just announced a few days ago that Flash is the best when it comes to videos ... , N.B. Google owns Youtube XD
-
EU Could Force Apple to Put Flash on iPad, iPhone
and more fuel to the fire
but yes I was noticing Google was back to backing Flash completly and has not been mentioning HTML-5 for awhile -
+1 "just beacuse the iphone is an amazing phone doesnt mean it shouldnt have flash"

Google just completed or is almost done with their HTML 5 version of their website, they just announced their revamped mobile site based on HTML 5
m.youtube.com and it works pretty damn like the desktop version. -
Except they're using H.264 video in HTML 5 which still isn't viewable on Firefox or Internet explorer. Thats about 80% of users. Plus the licensing issues of H.264 prevents Firefox from ever being able to support it. In fact the only browsers that can afford to support H.264 in HTML 5 (out of principle or the fact that its just too expensive) is Chrome, Safari, and I.E. 9. Flash is the only way to insure that H.264 video is viewable on everyone, not just big name browser who can afford the licensing. Flash isn't going anywhere until HTML 5 is consistent across platforms, and until theres a universally supported license-free HTML 5 video codec.
Plus even though Google currently uses h.264 video for HTML, they're is in the process of converting all of youtube to the WebM format. A format that Safari and I.E. 9 do NOT support (because its open source and Apple/Microsoft would prefer if everyone used H.264 where they both can collect royalties). Apple and Microsoft have refused to support open source codecs like VP8 and OGG so far, maybe webm based youtube will force them.
Flash on iOS also makes videos encoded in open source codecs to be viewable on iDevices, where there was absolutely no way before. In a way supporting flash is more "open" than pushing H.264 HTML 5 video (like Apple has been doing).
But w/e more choices is better, i can't fathom why people decide no flash is better than at least having the option. -
Here is the guide
How-to: Install Flash on your jailbroken iPad (for real) -- Engadget -
works well on my iPad.
well pleased with the progress. -
So how do you play flash games that need a keyboard?
-
no idea , i don't have an ipad XD
-
Yep, it was me who deleted the last two posts.
Continue on in a civil manner. Thank you.
-
Now i can finally view non-mobile xxx sites!
-
I don't think you can lol.
-
it's 100% about flash games , its about interactive flash all over the internet , ii think people got the Ipad for internet browsing , so what are they browsing , if they can't view any flash content , which is all over the web
-
That's why i didn't consider the iPad at first, I refused a internet browsing device that did not give me flash, A browsing experience without flash is meaningless...to me at least.
-
Why is it so hard for people to believe that there is a huge portion of the browsing population that either don't care, or hate Flash? The iPad is about more than just browsing the web.......but since you don't have one, you truly won't get it.
Finally Flash on Ipad & Iphone soon
