After weeks of thread after thread of questions i finally went to the applestore and bought my new black macbook. Its amazing i wish i would have bought it sooner!!! Thanks to everyone who helped me in answering my endless questions. I just have one more, im trying to set up Mail but i want to add other mail accounts. So i click add acount...but i have no idea what incoming server is. Its my school email and its run through gmail. ive tried putting mail.google.com and mail.gmail.com but it dosent seem to work, any ideas? everything else is great, im setting up time machine on my external hd but that means i have to copy all 200gbs before so it dosent erase. on my old pc this would be a problem because it would be the only thing i could do because of how slow it was but my 2 gb ram black macbook seems to run without the slightest slow down. its awesome!!! thanks so much again guys!!!

ive already read and read and read those two guides they are great! i just checked and my school just switched to gmail so they dont have imap or pop available with your email yet. i had another question though, i went to transmissionbt.com installed the first one which was for mac os x, then opened transmission, downloaded a torrent file, tried to open the torrent file with transmission but it wouldnt let me. so i tried to do it from transmission's open torrent and it lets me click open but doesnt do anything. any ideas?

What I suggest is using Hot Corners (its in System Preferences), so one corner is for Screensaver, and set it so you require a password to return to the desktop
