1. Click Preferences
2. Click Content
3. Click the Web features button on the left hand side of the Options window.
4. You should have a "Block Pop-up windows" as your first choice. Check the box and it'll do it's job.If you have a website that you want to allow pop-ups, then click exceptions and type the domain name and you'll be fine.
Hope that helps! -
Hello,
Check to make sure that the 'Block pop-up windows' option is enabled in Preferences -> Content. Shouldn't be getting pop-ups if that option is enabled.
Apart from that, use the Adblock Plus extention for Firefox if you're not using it already.
Edit: oop a little slow lol. -
Thanks for the help, but Block Popups is already checked. It blocks popups fine, but not pop-unders. Is there anything else I can check? It's really annoying.

yeah, I had the problem with Firefox too, and I hate running extensions that block it cuz stuff messes up it seems every firefox update... I've just been using Safari 4, and haven't had it happen on any of the main places I go... so stopped worrying about it.

Try installing the Adblock Plus add-on for Firefox. To ensure you block everything and more, you might want to take a look at NoScript, although that add-on is overkill for most users.

Try uninstalling it and reinstalling it again. I hate pop ups!
