This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Firefox 2.0 - optimized Mac Builds

    Saw it at TUAW (nice blog btw). This guy has made some unofficial firefox builds specially for Macs, both Intel and PPC:

    You can also download a version with acqua widgets which looks prettier. Still downloading it, let's see if it's as fast as Safari, Ffox in a Mac sometimes lags too much.

    I tried this one a while ago, while it may be 'optimized' it took forever to load, even longer than FF does. So I just trashed it.

    uhh... I somehow don't feel comfortable loading a piece of software that was modified by some guy...
    I have no idea who the modifier is. Maybe he's trusted, but I dunno.
