    Anyone else experience this?

I got my first mac (mbp 13") and I love it, but I'm a firefox user. Everytime I do two finger scroll, the browser lags. Its pretty annoying.

Also when I'm typing fast, the browser can't display the text fast enough, and I'm not even a fast typer.

I got the same problem. right now as I type. Every time I upgrade FF it just gets worse. I have 2gig ram and its still uses 100% cpu. But it does the same thing with Camino and Safari sometimes.
I wonder if it doesn't have something to do with the ISP not bouncing back fast enough. Just a wild a guess

I just updated firefox today, I'm guessing it just came out.

But it seems like my scrolling issue is fixed, can't really tell yet.

I've always had issues with this in OS X. Some websites are worse than others. Joystiq ( www.joystiq.com) is particularly bad.

This problem just came about. It happened when you updated firefox. Not the latest one currently, but the one before that.

I think it seems to be fixed now. I'm using OSX btw.

What version of FF are you guys running? I am on 3.5.2 and have zero problems (using Leopard still).

    I'm on version 3.5.3

I think 3.5.2 was the one with lag. Really annoying.

Can you describe your system in more detail? Is it Firefox 3 beta 5? Ubuntu? Does it scroll poorly on sites like Gmail, but works fine on other sites?

My Firefox doesn't lag scrolling at all... I'm not sure what version i was on, but i just had it update itself to 3.5.3 and it still works fine. On a Macbook Pro 15" using the 9400M at the moment with OSX 10.6

I dont have any scroll lag, but i have noticed that it takes the bookmark icons at least twice as long to populate when you first load firefox on os-x than it does under firefox under Xp/bootcamp.
