When it was released?
And what was the specifications of it?
I am planning on a MBP 13" for web browsing and multimedia (except gaming).![]()

The first unibody MBP was released in late 2008 and was at 15" only. The first unibody 13" MBP was released in mid 2009 and had varying specs. The essentially had either a 2.26GHz or 2.53GHz Core 2 Duo, 2GB or 4GB of RAM (maybe just 2GB), Nvidia GeForce 9400M IGP, a glossy glass covered display, and varying hard drive size options. You can see the timeline of the MBP releases on the Wikipedia page located here.

I have read that before posting, but I got confused at a Macbook with unibody re-branded later as MBP.
Does anybody sells it today as new/refurbished? -
ClearSkies Well no, I'm still here..
The only difference between the original launch of the 13" Alu Macbook in Oct 08 and the rebadged 13" alu MBP was the cpu bumps from 2.0/2.4 to 2.26/2.53. Everything else remained the same.
It's been 2.5 years since release, so there aren't any new ones around unless they're sitting on eBay (and I doubt that someone would have had a 13" MB in a box on a shelf for that long). Apple refurbs only go back to the previous model release, so we're also well past the timeline.
Your best option if you want to be inexpensive/cheap is to look on the used market, but the early ones (like mine) are still selling for $600-900 on eBay depending on specs and accessories, and the battery may or not need replacement due to age and use. -
Though I bet I am gonna sell it after a couple of month. -

As in your other post, you didn't buy a "new" MBP model at all and instead went with something that is 2 years old.
