Hello, my battery on my macbook pro fully charged is 96 percent, how do I fix this?
Thanks!

well, this is normal. Batteries wear and tear after usage and will only get lower.

If you have it always plugged in, and are running demanding apps on it, the battery slowly trickles away even though it's plugged in, and it won't start to fill it again until it gets below 95%. Try using the battery until it is low, and charging it back up. Hope that helps.

Alright
Well I just got the Macbook Pro so I dont think it should be like this. -
Did you charge the battery before turning it on? Also if the battery came at 96% and you plugged it in to fill to 100%, it simply won't, because as I said before it only charges when below 95%

After I got my macbook pro, I used all the battery and plugged it in, it has been on the plug since, at first it was 99, now its 96.

Mine was at 96% after about a week. It fluctuates between 96% and 97% now. Normal!

Just ignore that fact for now, and use your MBP without having it plugged in until it's a lot lower, and then plug it in and make sure you don't accidentally unplug it while it's charging.
For both the Macbook and Macbook Pro, if it is 95% or higher, if it is plugged in, it will not start charging. -
tianh,
That is perfectly normal. Macs and OS X is designed so that it will not charge unless the battery charge is lower than 96%. That way, you won't overcharge the battery by accident. So it not charging at 96% is the way its supposed to be. If you want to charge it up to 100%, unplug it, use it a bit until its lower than 96% then plug it back in
.
Full Charge Only 96% :( -MBP
