    STEP THREE: Type the following and press enter:

    /Applications/Utilities/Voice Over Utility.app>Speech>Voices and you can set the voices you want to use graphically. Then just enable Voice Over in System Prefs>Universal Access, and type some phrase in a text editor or something to be read out loud.

    It's kind of cool when you use them in conjunction with apple scripts or shell scripts.
    It's one of the reasons I love my mac, shell and actions.
