Quick question - anyone noticed any problems with their mouse cursor and window focus in Unity view under VMWare Fusion?

Specifically, using VX Revolution, 2.2.2 logitech setpoint drivers, Word 2007, etc...

Works fine in single and full screen mode, but Unity view is a bit quirky.

I noticed it too. I couldn't use the mouse (trackpad or external mouse) when in Unity mode with Logitech's Set Point software installed. I could only use them in full screen or windowed mode.

Hmmm. I've not had a problem using an external mouse when in Unity. Are you seeing this problem with the notebook's trackpad, or an external mouse?

In my case, I think it has something to do with the Logitech SetPoint drivers for my Wave keyboard + wireless mouse. I'm going to remove it and see what happens when I get home.

Any word on this? I just bought a VX Revolution and have the same problem: works in Fullscreen or Single Window but not Unity.

I removed the SetPoint drivers and the mouse works like a charm. I haven't tried loading the SetPoint drivers again since the updates VMWare has made to Fusion though.

YOu removed the drivers from your Windows image or from OS X? I tried removing uninstalling Setpoint from my Windows image, made no difference. I have a brand new version of Fusion so that doesn't seem to help.

I had Set Point installed on Mac OSX. I removed that and things went back to normal.

I am happy to report that upgrading to Fusion 2.0 solved the problem. My Logitech mouse works just great under Unity now.
