So now in Leopard, next to my Wireless signal indicator, there's a Sync icon that, I guess, will let me sync my computer with my .Mac account. I don't have a .Mac account, though - is there a way to get this off the menu bar and to no longer launch on start-up? I checked Login Items, and couldn't find it there.

    Thanks!

System Preferences>.Mac>Sync. Uncheck the "Synchronize with .Mac" and "Show status in Menu Bar" box. But that will only work if you're signed into a .Mac Account. So hold Command(Open-Apple) and click-and-drag the Sync icon from the Menu Bar onto the Desktop. Poof!!!
