Well my MBP was working perfectly fine a few hours ago. Now the keyboard and trackpad appear dead. They are unresponsive and I can't get any of the LED's on the keyboard to turn on (capslock and numlock). Using an external mouse and keyboard works fine. The problem is I have a 7 page paper due Friday and I don't have an external keyboard of my own. Under the System profiler I do not see the trackpad or mouse. Am I screwed?![]()

Did you try restarting?

Maybe this is the first real virus for Macs.

You claim you cant type a paper, yet you type up a topic on this forum
Restarting might help, but if all else fails... You could always throw it against a wall. At least that might help vent some anger.
*if it really is broken, i suggest using a public library. -
Well I typed my post at a computer cluster on campus. I restarted a bunch of times but no luck. I bought a cheapo keyboard at my campus computer store but this really sucks... The keyboard still lights up so it looks pretty but is useless
. Today is not my day, on top of this I also lost some articles that I kinda need to write my paper
.
