Hello everyone! Happy new year! it is 4.30am here and i amtired and tres hammered, too many parties.... :eek2: so yes since i am waiting on my friend to finish her pre-hangover concoction to curve my headache tomorrow, i decided to make the first topic of the year! w00t!

New year means new apple hardware (obviously!!!), so how do you plan to give steve jobs your money this year? For me as some of you know i am getting my new mbp tomorrow! *cue team america **** yeah song* and the suposedly awesome black mamba pack from booq!! boom.

I want an ipod touch, but might wait for update in septermber! more gigs! unless they have iphone 2, it depends!! i also hope they update cinema displays, thinner, cheaper, and yeah!!! bult-in isight ftmfw!

of couse i will post my 2.2 mbp review when i get it, and a more deep(indepth?) review of the mamba pack (like the black mamba in kill bill! lol sorry. uma thurman is hot) of courfse i will post that review not hammered.

mods! please feel free to correct my mistakes or swears1, if any, cant remember

So what are you all getting this year??? how was the parties??!

    Happy New Year everyone!

2008's going to be a big year for Apple...lots of pressure to repeat announcements to the calibre of the iPhone, iPhone 2, its time for some redesigns of the Macs, new iPods, some radical changes needed for the Apple TV! This will certainly be interesting to watch.

I got an iPod Touch for Christmas (which I half paid for, that's the catch :p), and my dad got me a Sony Ericsson W910i! No iPhone for me yet, I don't want to deal with some of the things with it (don't want to go with Rogers), the W910i looks awesome!

I thought sony ericsson only made gsm phones, and that rogers was the only gsm provider in canada, so how do you have a w910 and not with rogers?

Nice phone btw. Is it the red or black version?

    Happy New Year, everyone! :)

Not only was 2007 a great year for Apple, but it was also a great year for the Apple forum of NBR; the number of users that frequent this forum has gone up noticeably this year and I hope it stays this way!

    Cheers

It's the black one. :p And about the phone thing, you can remove the rogers SIM, and put in a new one. (I think at least... :p)

My earbuds still haven't arrived. :(

Happy New Year to U 2 00Fez and to all of you on the NBR forums.
Funny, Sam said he would have limited activity. He still has found time to help people while on vacation.

Parties, yes. New computer parts/accessories, no. :(

I assume the installation was smooth and easy? The spring loaded clips that Apple use for their RAM are different from any other computer I've ever seen...

I just went to 2 parties this year. I went to my work's party, but only until 11.30, then I went to a friend's party from university, until 5ish, dont quite remember much after posting this topic. i think i drank that aberration of humanity that my friend prepared me to help my hungover and fell asleep watching some weird ass movie starring johnny depp (my friend has weird taste in movies).

and nope no new gear yet, i got a nokia e50 but that was like 2 weeks ago. My friend with my mbp comes back from miami tomorrow! i cant wait to get my hands on that little beast!

Yeah, I go to Macworld every year, I live in the SF Bay Area. It's really an awesome show, much more exciting than CES. If you ever get the chance to go you will be in Mac heaven.

Whatever you do, do not let Sam near you if you ever happen to meet him. He quite honestly would kill you. I know this, because I'm his accomplice. ;)

The reason you're killing him is because he's been to every single Macworld. : :D

On another note, I got my new Creative LP 630's today. :)
