If so does it lag? Does it work good? Is it even supported?

anyone else has any input?

It's get broiling hot but it will run it at minimum settings. Don't expect anything amazing but it does run.
I enjoy it but many others do not. There is a long thread about this in the MBA forum on macrumors.

Running warcraft3 you will get temps 80-90. Running flash/watching youtube videos you will also get amazing temps.

So it only runs on minimum setting?
-
I think it will run medium to high but if it hits 80-90 it tends to under/downclock its gonna get laggy and later itl get unplayable

Ahh okay.. what if I acquire one of those cool down thing.. (hard to explain but you place it under the computer and it ventilates it or something..)
-
What i do with my macbookunibody is i remove my battery place it in the backside so that it will be elevated, switch on the fan(electric fan) point it to the backside of the laptop and poof, no more downclocking.

you're not on the right frame of reference here. few points:
1. random downclocking is probably not going to be a problem for other users when playing games on apple laptops
2. if you take out the battery, the processor does DOES downclock. this is not a good strategy to avoid downclocking.
3. the macbook air doesn't meet the minimum requirements to run diablo 3. You *might* be able to play it anyway, but it wouldn't be supported. -
One user reported on it here:
macbook air with intel HD3000 - Forums - Diablo III
This is not true. CPU utilisation stays low when playing HTML5 or Flash video and the fan doesn't spin up. It does get slightly warm after a while. -
I played the beta, on my 13 air it played fine at around 30 fps, no shadows.
-
I was planning on getting the 11".. same specs?
did you try in a game with multiple players in areas with many enemies? -
How to maximize mac gameplay with HD3000
-Download the latest DirectX runtime and Intel GMA HD3000 driver
-Throttlestop (set all cores to turbo)
-Download "macfan" from sourgeforce and run fan at 100% speed (a notebook cooler helps) -
Yes usually it does not happen on mac os. But when using windows/bootcamp your fans dont kick in = downclocking. Solution= kick fans on high using mentioned apps or elevate laptop, buy a small fan and you are set. I suggest a fan not a cooling pad because in my experience and my friend(who owns a mbp13' 2011) a cooling pad just wont cut it.

The fans should turn on automatically when running windows games. Obviously, if your fans fail to turn on, the system will overheat. That is a problem. This should not occur.
Use the laptop on a flat surface, like a table or a desk. Do not put the laptop on clothes, or carpet. You want that air surface area open underneath the laptop.
Again, if you remove the battery, you're system will downclock immediately.
Has anyone tried D3 on the latest Macbook air?
