Despite all of my looking I cannot find anyone saying whether hearts of iron 3 plays well on the MBP. I am not really into heavy gaming but I would seriously consider not getting the new MBP if I cannot play this game.

    Thanks for any help!

I will install and give you feedback, but EU3 works fine, actually it runs faster than on my core 2 duo machine, even taking into account the 4670m GDDR3 that it packed

Great. Can´t belive that someone else had the same question as me. However, did you run that game through bootcamp or how did you run it?

I assume that HOI3 will then run even better on MBP 15¨ with improved CPU and GPU.

    Thanks.

HOI3 is steam play, EU3 as well.

I dont know if the game is multithreaded, if not, you will have a slight advantage of what I saw here

I have bought the expansions for EU3 (HTT and DW), still waiting for the s that port the game to make them available on steam play. And from their answers there is no way that they are going to do that, too bad I was waiting for that
