Hey I play WoW for extended periods of time and wonder if there is anything I can do to reduce the heat on the MBP.
Would the fan control downloads mentioned in previous posts work?
Also my battery gets REALLY hot while gaming, ideas? (The actual adapter) I am also assuming that if I let the fans run pretty fast that the battery adapter would get even hotter and possibly be damaged.

Try this cooler, I've used two coolers before I found this one for my MBP.

The problem with most coolers is that they blow air at the wrong spot on the MBP. The hottest spot on the MBP is further back close to the display hinge and most coolers just blow air at the center of the bottom...
It works quite well for me and it is quiet. Hope this helps your problem. -
I use a Griffin Elevator. It does not actively cool, but it allows air to flow all around the notebook.
