Hey, I need some help with iMovie. I had recorded a bunch of footage with my iSight camera, but then iMovie crashed and my footage was all put in the trash can when I opened it back up again. When I went to drag the footage back into the clips area on the main screen, it wouldn't respond. Now all my footage is stuck in the trash can and I can't figure out how to recover it!

    Any ideas? It's really frustrating.

Move your files out from the Trash first (for example, to your Movies folder), then drag them into iMovie.

It won't let me move them to the movies folder either. Nothing happens when I click and try to drag them in the "Show Trash Can" window.

Is there a special way of clicking on them or something? Because when I try to click and drag them, they don't do anything. It's as if I had tried clicking and dragging on an empty space.

Thanks for the suggestion. Any more?

Welll, it looks like it was a problem with iMovie, because iMovie just crashed again (twice in a row), and then when it started up again, I could move files out of the trash by clicking and dragging them to the clips area... weird.
