I decided to have a look at the Apple refurbished site today, and was shocked at what I saw. There are all of a sudden a TON of computers there, and a lot are at really good prices. It makes me wanna lay down the money right now to get one. Take a look at this one for instance.

Yeap, their refurb area always have a massive collection, most of which are in pristine quality and no wear, and for a killer discount. Add a Apple Protection plan, and you are set.
Currently scoping out a MB for my sis

True that.. and if you are one of the few to have a problem with your refurb, say a warped case or horrible scuff mark and worse... Apple is more than likely going to take care of you with out too much trouble. They WANT you to be happy.
I would say Apples Refurbs are the best deal on the web considering they're not from some un-authorized dealer trying to get you with rebates that "might" work or be easy to obtain. Unfortunately I don't think they qualify for combo discounts at purchase, like Final Cut or the free HP printer/scanner, and tax still applies -
Some of these are soooo tempting! Now I can't decide if I want to go with user to user new, or one of these MBP's...
Oh, also, I read the thread title and came in expecting to see a MBP that was used as a boat anchor!

Haha at UltraCow, I thought it was a complaint!
Apple Refurbs are pretty good quality, from what I hear from most people that have gotten a refurbished Mac before. It was on Apple's part to offer such a service as Refurbished Macs for discounted prices.
Holy rusted metal, Batman!
