I'm hoping I have the model I paid for. It didn't come with an invoice of any kind. Just came in a box. How do I find out if I got the core 2 duo 2.0 1gb RAM?

I know it has wireless because the net is working

You can download a program called CPU-Z. It will tell you all about the processor that is installed in the notebook, what type of RAM you have, what the timing for the RAM are, and it will also tell you from which manufacturer it is from.

This is going to take some getting used to. I haven't figured out the right click on the macbook yet, but I have my logitech mouse installed now and it is making this MUCH easier. So far everything has been pretty straight forward. I found the software update on the very top of the screen and it is now updating several things.

Guys please... he is talking about a MACBOOK.
Open System Profiler app in the Utilities folder (accessible also via the Apple Menu--> About this Mac). This should give you all info you need.

To "right-click" , just option-click; or, go to system prefs, mouse and keyboard, and enable two finger clicking (don't recall the exact option and I don't have my macbook here at work... ops, hope no one reads this :D )

    Uhh... CPU-Z is PC...

If you want to check your info, just click on the apple icon and then About this mac.
Clicking on more info will give you all the info you need a more.

Click the Apple on the top left corner in the menu bar and then click "about this mac"
