Is there a way to make an audio cd... i have mp3's and want to put them on a blank disc, but be able to play it in a cd player, not as mp3's.
Wasnt sure if mac came with a program already installed to do that. I have a macbook pro, a month old.

iTunes is capable of burning Audio CD's, just have a look at the burn options in the iTunes preferences and make sure Audio CD is setup as the burning method.
-
Yes, iTunes will burn MP3's.
To convert MP3's to Wav, Look for an Audio COnverter.

ok cool, i missed have missed that. I was looking at itunes the other day trying to figure it out.
-
Yes, it will, as well as many other format's including a proper Audio CD that should playback just fine in any CD player.

You mean make an audio CD?
Isn't this what the help menu is for? Searching "burn cd" in iTunes help conveniently brings up "Creating your own audio CDs". -
All you need to do is throw the songs you want to burn to a disc into iTunes, create a playlist from them, then select "Burn Disc" in the lower-right corner. It will ask whether you want to create an Audio CD (what you want) or an MP3 CD.
How do i convert mp3 to wav on a mac?
