I have dust, skin, particles of weed and bits of cookie in my speaker holes. I only really notice it when I use the thing in a bright place, like I took it to work the other day, and some of the holes are kinda plugged up.

Paper clip is too big. Kinda don't want to poke a safety pin in there.

Try a Swiffer pad! Those things get up all sorts of small particles without even touching them. They work fairly well on my other electronics with tiny crevasses.

Or you shower with your MBP, get it squeaky clean while spending quality time. :D

Heh, can't wait for my first Mac. (Listed Below)

I use a small magnetic feather duster and it works great. If it's really tough, I will use a large air bulb (the kind you use for cleaning dust off camera lenses) to loosen the dust, then use the duster to pick it up. I don't particularly care for compressed air, just in case it decides to eject liquid which can ruin a lot of parts on the computer (especially the screen).

Fill up the bathtub with soap and water and drop the MBP in the tub. Let it soak a few hours.

There might be a few side effects though. ;)
