    hey guys, I am going to order my first macbook pro very soon!!!, and I am just wondering, how many days/weeks/month did it take to arrive when you bought it?

    I ordered mine over the phone on Wednesday morning and it got to my house on Friday morning. I had standard shipping and the iPod Touch and free printer all came at the same time. Too bad I'm still halfway around the world :p .

    It took me about 3 days too.

    You have to remember that macbooks don't have a lot of configuration options, so most of these laptops are premade and ready to ship.

    Now if you look at dell, almost everything is configurable. From what kind of paint or if you want a back-light keyboard can be configured. Because of this Dell may take several weeks to ship.
